cataract surgery simulation/game

I've just got a cataract surgery simulation game loaded on to
App Store. You can do capsulorrhexis with this simulation game, which
involves tearing a round opening in the membrane covering the lens.
Lots of fun!

How to transfer data from eyePatientsFree to eyePatient full version

1.Download the desktop version of eyePatients by following
URL from previous post.
2. Sync data between eyePatientsFree and desktop version
3. Then sync data between desktop version with eyePatients full version.

Sync with iPhone

Look out for the new iPhone version of eyePatients!
It will be available in few days with feature to allow
synchronization with your iPad or with a desktop computer.

small bug on desktop version fixed

Small bug on the desktop version synchronisation function has been fixed.

Plan for new feature

The current plan for eyePatients is to further improve data entry of
Ophthalmology Subspecialty information, such as enter details on
Corneal graft surgery, voter retinal surgery etc. Also allow certain sets
Of customized fields to be saved.


For eyeDiary the plan is to have some way of connecting eyeDiary with
eyePatients App.

This is how Synchronization works

With eyePatients synchronization, you can synchronize your patient data
with desktop computer or with other iPad through WiFi.
This is how it works.
1. Use one iPad running eyePatients as the central iPad.

2. Desktop computers running PC or Mac versions of eyePatients can synchronize with central iPad.

3. Other iPads can also connect to central iPad.


4. Communication goes both ways, updating information on both sides of the connection.
5. Great for simple scenario backing up your iPad data to your Desktop, or for more complex scenario of having multiple devices within a clinic sharing same clinical information.

eyePatients desktop for Mac

Mac Version of eyePatients is now available for download for free on
the Appcelerator website.

The software runs on Mac OSX 10.5 and above.

You can test out the Synchronization feature when eyePatient version 2.1 has
been approved by AppStore.

eyePatients desktop

A PC desktop version (Windows) of eyePatients software is now available on the following address

It work on the same database structure as iPad version of eyePatients.
It also has a synchronization function which allows it to synchronize with a new
version of iPad eyePatients (ver 2.1 onwards). At this stage iPad eyePatients 2.1
is still being evaluated by AppStore, so hopefully it will be available in a few days time.

Synchronization!

In the coming version of eyePatients you can synchronize your patient data
between multiple iPads and with your desktop software.
This means if you have several iPads in your practice, you can synchronize your data between
all of your iPads.
Imagine your secretary enters the basic details about a patient, and you can then
add further information to the record in your office.

You can also use synchronization feature to backup your data.

Synchronization requires a WiFi network.

eyeTests now available

eyeTest app is now available on the AppStore.
I developed it when I find it hard to get a proper eye chart app that displays at
different viewing distances. Also I want to have a handy amsler grid that I can take
with me where ever I go.

eyeTest will remain free because I developed it initially to help my own clinical practice.
I will try to update it regularly with new eye tests when I can, I'm thinking
perhaps to add a hue rearrangement module or contrast sensitivity test. Your suggestions welcome.

Also note that a version of the eyeTest also comes with the eyePatients app and the
eyeDiary app. This way your eyeTest results can be recorded in a database for plotting on a graph for your clinician to review.
