Use one iPad running eyePatients as the central iPad.

2. Desktop computers running PC or Mac versions of eyePatients can synchronize with central iPad.

3. Other iPads can also connect to central iPad.

4. Communication goes both ways, updating information on both sides of the connection.
5. Great for simple scenario backing up your iPad data to your Desktop, or for more complex scenario of having multiple devices within a clinic sharing same clinical information.Georgehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06397028288503865971noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925770389590796288.post-45842081518895114852011-08-03T07:55:00.000-07:002011-08-03T07:59:03.843-07:00eyePatients desktop for MacMac Version of eyePatients is now available for download for free on
the Appcelerator website.

http://api.appcelerator.net/p/pages/app_page?token=v4svCr73

The software runs on Mac OSX 10.5 and above.

You can test out the Synchronization feature when eyePatient version 2.1 has
been approved by AppStore.

Your suggestions and comments on how to improve this software is much
appreciated.Georgehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06397028288503865971noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925770389590796288.post-31642274892520712122011-08-03T05:35:00.000-07:002011-08-03T05:38:34.825-07:00eyePatients desktopA PC desktop version (Windows) of eyePatients software is now available on the following address

http://api.appcelerator.net/p/pages/app_page?token=t4rxvd83

It work on the same database structure as iPad version of eyePatients.
It also has a synchronization function which allows it to synchronize with a new
version of iPad eyePatients (ver 2.1 onwards). At this stage iPad eyePatients 2.1
is still being evaluated by AppStore, so hopefully it will be available in a few days time.Georgehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06397028288503865971noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925770389590796288.post-72589727293978425822011-08-02T22:40:00.000-07:002011-08-02T22:45:05.850-07:00Synchronization!In the coming version of eyePatients you can synchronize your patient data
between multiple iPads and with your desktop software.
This means if you have several iPads in your practice, you can synchronize your data between
all of your iPads.
Imagine your secretary enters the basic details about a patient, and you can then
add further information to the record in your office.

You can also use synchronization feature to backup your data.

Synchronization requires a WiFi network.Georgehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06397028288503865971noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925770389590796288.post-23724366223132548042011-06-22T15:04:00.001-07:002011-06-22T15:19:26.170-07:00eyeTests now availableeyeTest app is now available on the AppStore.
I developed it when I find it hard to get a proper eye chart app that displays at
different viewing distances. Also I want to have a handy amsler grid that I can take
with me where ever I go.

eyeTest will remain free because I developed it initially to help my own clinical practice.
I will try to update it regularly with new eye tests when I can, I'm thinking
perhaps to add a hue rearrangement module or contrast sensitivity test. Your suggestions welcome.

Also note that a version of the eyeTest also comes with the eyePatients app and the
eyeDiary app. This way your eyeTest results can be recorded in a database for plotting on a graph for your clinician to review.

watch this space. :-)Georgehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06397028288503865971noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925770389590796288.post-43749465462331571852011-06-07T05:54:00.001-07:002011-06-07T05:58:52.622-07:00upcoming update* you will be able to synchronize all of your data with your desk top in the latest update.
* synchronise data with data on patient's iPad ( allowing your patients to keep a record of their progress)Georgehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06397028288503865971noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925770389590796288.post-32429416240695617702011-05-20T18:34:00.001-07:002011-05-20T18:37:45.518-07:00got a feed back that it would be good to also record and chart
custom indices (perhaps EDTRS scores etc), will look into it.

Georgehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06397028288503865971noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925770389590796288.post-10803826406522393572011-05-16T05:25:00.000-07:002011-05-16T05:28:09.988-07:00international datesthere were some problems with the eye patients app when used in non english
versions of iPad of the non-english date values. this bug has been fixed in the new

update.

Georgehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06397028288503865971noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925770389590796288.post-36406751810994339942011-05-07T22:08:00.000-07:002011-05-07T22:11:46.916-07:00eyePatients for iPhone now availablefree version of eyePatients for iPhones is now available for download in iTunes.

Georgehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06397028288503865971noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925770389590796288.post-88099007710233675772011-05-01T22:31:00.000-07:002011-05-01T22:33:24.547-07:00Working on eyePatients for iPhones...
